Privacy Policy
This page explains how information may be handled when you visit the Bilkis Cakes & Bakes website or contact the bakery.
Information you choose to provide
When you contact Bilkis Cakes by WhatsApp, phone or email, you may provide your name, phone number, event date, cake requirements, preferred collection timing, reference images and other details needed to respond to your enquiry or prepare an order.
Website ordering
The WhatsApp inquiry form prepares a message in your browser and opens WhatsApp; the theme itself does not store that inquiry. If you place an order through WooCommerce, the website stores the order and contact details needed to process, manage and support that purchase.
Payments
Where M-Pesa is offered at checkout, the website displays payment instructions and the order is confirmed after payment is manually verified. Do not send your M-Pesa PIN through this website, WhatsApp or email.
Cookies and website services
WordPress, security, analytics, caching or other website tools may use essential or optional cookies depending on the plugins enabled by the site administrator. Where a cookie notice is provided, you can use it to manage available choices.
External services
Links to WhatsApp, social media or other external services take you to platforms operated by third parties. Their own privacy terms apply when you use those services.
How order information is used
Information supplied for an enquiry or order may be used to communicate with you, prepare a quotation, schedule an order, arrange collection, keep appropriate transaction records and provide customer support.
